Back with Robert Louis Stevenson.
It’s said that the RLS book Jekyll and Hyde was based on a real experience of Robert.
His father had commissioned some furniture from William Brodie as some sources say. Or did he buy an antique piece of furniture made by the man?
I claim the latter. The years are well off. The book was published 1886 and Rabbie was born in 1850. Brodie got GOT in 1788.
Billy Connolly – my fave Scottish comedian – played Brodie in a film.
