We Brits are all experts in the weather. Yet we go to pieces whenever the weather goes rogue. Like the past two days of torrential rain.
My village is on a hill and I’ve NEVER known it flood. Until today.
Yes. The garden is underwater but the house is safe and the fireman were just checking that we were OK.
BTW – We live in the Middle East of England. 20 miles from the North Sea.
