I came across these American TV shows months ago. Watched a couple and then forgot them.
Last week The Remarkable Mrs Hawk showed up and it hooked me in so many ways.

Thriller (also known as Boris Karloff’s Thriller and Boris Karloff Presents) is an American anthology television series that aired during the 1960–61 and 1961–62 seasons on NBC. The show featured host Boris Karloff introducing a mix of macabre horror tales and suspense thrillers.[1]

These stories are rather fabulous. Dark, yes. Strange, yes. But they are presented by – and some are acted in by – William Henry Pratt. Several are written by Robert Bloch. Many are directed by Ida Lupino (appeared in Basil Rathbone Sherlock films). One of them stars Ronald Howard who played Sherlock Holmes in a UK TV series.
God Grant That She Lye Stille is the Ronald Howard one. It also stars Henry Daniell who appears in three(?) Basil Rathbone Sherlock films.
